We had lots of fun typing our YEEK story onto a Word document. We learnt about lots of features such as putting on page borders and changing font and its size. What fun we had running around the school looking for bar codes so that could read the next clue to make our Easter puzzle. I think we will need to practise using QR Codes a lot more before we get it right but it was a lot of fun learning. Thanks Mrs Karam for sharing this great idea with us. How gorgeous did we all look today with our Easter hats? Did you have a favourite? Congratulations to Emily and Joanne for receiving their honour certificates.
Seinafo's award is for being a great classroom helper. Isabella's award is for fantastic writing throughout the week. Well done 2B for fantastic behaviour during the assembly.
What fun you had this afternoon, enjoying the prize! GAMES!!! What was your favourite game? Did you know that we have an emu at our school? Neither did 2B so they went looking for it. They finally found the emu in the garden area. Today we started our own seed experiment!
We put seeds in a plastic bag with cotton wool and we're going to see if they grow. During reading groups, we are going to monitor their growth and record it in our special booklets. I wonder if they will grow as big as our class bean plant. Ms Batar is so proud of 2B. We are all becoming independent students who are able to work quietly and help each other. These are some of the activities we have been doing: water spelling, Boggle, creative thinking, comprehension box and lots more. What is your favourite activity? |
